How to Choose an Air Compressor?
When preparing to purchase an air compressor, first determine the required working pressure plus a margin of 1-2 bar. Then select the compressor's pressure rating (this margin accounts for the installation location's distance from the actual air-end piping and the associated pressure loss, which should be appropriately considered with a pressure margin between 1-2 bar based on the distance length). Of course, the diameter of the piping and the number of bends also affect pressure loss. Larger pipe diameters and fewer bends result in lower pressure loss; conversely, more bends lead to greater pressure loss.
